Abstract

Opposing to the education of Ethnic assimilation, one important characteristic of Multicultural education is to acknowledge the independent value of different nationalities. Though Multicultural education has contributed greatly to the higher education for minorities in the world, it has some intrinsic weaknesses which can't be overcome by itself. We shouldn't develop Chinese higher education for minorities as Multicultural education does.
