Abstract
Miao song can be classified into four types as follows: legendary type,historic type,litigant type and marriage type.Miao songs reflect their ideas of traditional law,marriage system,heritage system and ownership system and truly records procedures of some lawsuits and carry rich message of habit law,Ancient songs and Miao's other woks are related as well as differentiated.
