TECHNICAL COUNTERMEASURES AND MAIN EXPLORATION DOMAINS ANALYSIS,NORTHWEST OF CHINA

Northwest of China,which is enrichment in petroleum reserves and widely in exploration domain,is a main relay exploration domain on the mainland of China.The third stock assessment show that the oil reserve mainly spread in the large-scale basin of Ordos,Tarim,Junggar,Qaidam and medium-mini basin of Turpan-Harmy,Jiuquan,the gas reserve mainly spread in Ordos,Tarim and Qaidam basins.Contrast to the eastern oil-gas bearing basins,the regional tectonic background, petroleum geological features and exploration conditions of basins in northwest of China are more special and complicate.Foreland thrust belts,litho-stratigraphic reservoir,medium-lower formations of craton basin and mature areas of oil-gas fields are composed of the main exploration domains for future petroleum exploration.These domains are faced much special and complex geological and technical trouble for deep exploration.For further exploration,the unceasing innovation of geology theory and exploration technique is needed and the technique developing will play an important role in practical exploration.
