ANALYSIS OF THE CLINIC EFFECT OF THE PERCUTANEOUS DISKECTOMY IN THE TREATMENT OF 120 PATIENTS WITH LUMBAR DISC PROTRUSION

Abstract

[Objective]To observe the percutaneous diskectomy in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc protrusion.[Methods]From January 2005 to December 2009,we recruited 120 patients with lumbar disc protrusion,and a total of 189 intervertebral disks were treated,and all the patients were followed up.[Results]The followed up time was from 6 months to 5 years.According to Herron criteria,87 patients presented excellent,26 patients showed effective,and 7 patients revealed invalid.The total effective rate was 94.2%.No hematoncus,intervertebral disk infection and nervous damage as well as blood vessel damage presented.[Conclusion]The effective rate of percutaneous diskectomy in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc protrusion shows to be high,and it is safe,with little complication and pain.It is worth to spread it in clinic.
