The Creativity of the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics——Reconsidering "On the Ten Big Relations," "On the Issue of Properly Dealing with the Internal Contradictions among the People"

The results of early explorations on the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics revealed the basic position to liberate the mind,seek truth from facts,and combine Marxism with Chinese realities;emphasized the basic idea to go on one's way,clarifying the aim to build socialism with Chinese characteristics;defining the motives for socialist development,laying a foundation for the thought of opening and reform and providing the essential starting point for the formation and development of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Not only did the findings set up the methodology of overall planning with all factors taken into consideration to lay a foundation of scientific development as a guiding principle,but also created the theory of contradictions of socialist society while putting forward the concept of opening with leniency and seeking harmony and keeping differences, and the purposeful state of each at their own place so to initiate the theoretical basis for the construction of socialist harmonious society.
