Abstract
The socialist road with Chinese characteristics is created on the basis of the lessons drawn from traditional socialist developmental road by the Communist Party of China since the adoption of reform and opening policy.There are significant differences between the two,with the socialist road with Chinese characteristics being both an inheritance of and an innovation upon the traditional socialist developmental path.A scientific analysis of the relationship between the two is of important theoretical and practical significance in holding the great banner of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
