Abstract
Objective This study was to evaluate the clinical value of transvaginal sonography exami-nation in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Methods Ultrasonographic features were analyzed in 112 patients with ectopic pregnancy examined by trans-abdomen sonography and tranvaginal sonography.Final clinical diag-nosis was confirmed by histopathologic analysis. Results Transvaginal ultrasonography in detection rate of ec-topic pregnancy mass in the annex area was significantly higher than transabdominal ultrasound. Conclusion The transvaginal ultrasound can improve the early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy,to provide programs for clini-cal treatment options.
