Abstract
Based on the data of field experiments, the paper analyzes the water requirement characteristics during growth period of the main crops (winter wheat and summer corn) in Xi'an city, and works out the sufficient irrigation system for wheat and corn respectively and three kinds of insufficient irrigation mode for wheat-corn multiple cropping. It may provide scientific basis for the development of water-saving agriculture in Xi'an.
