Abstract

Programmed cell death(PCD)is an active and gene-regulated process which plays an important role in normal growth and development of plants. In this review,we summarized recent studies on the features of PCD in plants including the possible pathways of signal transduction in PCD,the important enzyme related to PCD and so on.
