Abstract
The service life of valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) battery was influenced by floating charge voltage, ambient temperature, corrosion of positive plate, water loss, heat runaway and elastic collision of AGM. In order to extend service life of VRLA batteries, the solution methods were raised. The usage, maintenance, observation, judging of capacity of on-line of VRLA batteries were discussed. The experiences were convenient for the extension of the service life, usage, maintenance of VRLA battery, and guarantee of the telecommunication system working normal.
