Abstract

There are many kinds of distributed object-based system. For distributed application system, selecting a suitable distributed object-based system is very important. It bases on the characteristics of three main distributed object-based system(CORBA, DCOM and J2EE) and introduces in detail the necessity of bringing in every type, advantages and disadvantages, the scope of application. The main differences and the future of distributed object-based system are briefly mentioned.
