Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical treatment of the type Ⅲchronic prostatitis(CP2 Ⅲ).Methods:Based on National Institute Health(NIH)classification,126 cases of the type Ⅲchronic prostatitis were surveyed by the analysis of their laboratory results and clinical history.In addition,the type Ⅲchronic prostatitis symptom index(CPSI)of each patient was evaluated.All of the patients were comprehensively treated for 8 to 12 weeks.Tosufloxacin tosylate tablets were given for 4 weeks,and qinglikeli and qianlieshutong Capsule for 8 to 12 weeks.All of the patients were additionally treated by psychological and physical therapies.Results:Ninty-eight patients(77.8%)were significantly improved,20(15.9%)slightly improved and only 8(6.3%)did not respond to the therapy.Conclusion:Comprehensive treatment was an effective method for the patients with type Ⅲchronic prostatitis.
