Application of fogarty duct in embolectomy for acute limb arterial embolism

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the application experience of the fogarty duct embolectomy for acute limb arterial embolization.Mathods A retrospective analysis for the data of 38 patients was treatment in our hospital with acute limb arterial embolism from Jan.2009 to Mar.2011.Results All the acute limb arterial embolism patients was treated by the fogarty duct embolectomy,30 patients ware cured,six cases improved,only 2 cases invalide.Conclusions Use the Fogarty duct embolectomy is the chief way for the acute limb arterial embolism.
