Abstract
In this paper,the nitrogen production efficiency of 27 maize inbred lines with different nitrogen application level were studied. Results show that the nitrogen efficiency of dry matter production is the highest in the slik period of maize with high yield and nitrogen efficiency for both high nitrogen and low nitrogen level,and it is higher in those varieties of high yield and nitrogen efficiency than those of low yield and nitrogen dry matter accumulation. With high nitrogen application,the correlation between the nitrogen grain production efficiency and the mature period of nitrogen dry matter production efficiency show extremely significant positive. In low nitrogen conditions,the correlations between the nitrogen efficiency of grain production and the nitrogen dry matter production efficiencies in all of the silking stage,filling stage,mature period of maize are all significant.Under both high nitrogen and low nitrogen,plant nitrogen accumulation in the high yield and efficiency maize is higher than those low production and inefficiencies. The nitrogen accumulation difference mainly comes from the accumulation of nitrogen after spinning. The high yield and nitrogen efficiency maize have higher root absorbing ability and grain nitrogen use efficiency,and after nitrogen application,the nitrogen uptake ability enhance.
