Mammal Resources in Damu Mountainous Nature Reserve in Chongqing City

Abstract
The mammal animal resource was surveyed to know the current status of mammal resources in Damu Mountainous Nature Reserve,Chongqing.The results show that there are 57 species,20 families,seven orders,the nationalⅠ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ protection species is three,nine and five respectively,eight species and seven species are recorded in CITES and key protection animal list of Chongqing separately.29 species,13 species and 15 species of 57 species belong to Oriental realm,Palearctic realm and widely distributed species respectively according to animal geographical fauna division,which indicates that Oriental realm species is of absolute superiority in Damu Mountainous Nature Reserve.
