The Campaign of Banning on Opium-smoking and the Opium Trade in the Financial Difficulties in late Qing

The early 20th century,the Qing Dynasty introduced a series of self-help measures in an attempt to restore the decline of social situation,the campaign of banning on opium-smoking and the opium trade is one of the important measures.From the Qing Dynasty financial difficulties and social situation,the paper analyzes the causes,discusses the measures of the laws 、institutions and treaties of banning on opium-smoking and the opium trade.Furthermore,the author considers that the campaign had took some achievement and played the active role in the late Qing.
