The detection and significance of serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 in endometriosis

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To observe the significance of serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 in endometriosis.METHODS From January 2011 to December 2011,the serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 were detected in 62 endometriosis patients,and 30 healthy controls by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS The serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 in endometriosis group were significantly higher than those in normal group(P﹤0.05).The serum TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 in Ⅲ-Ⅳ group were significantly higher than those in Ⅰ-Ⅱ group(P﹤0.05).CONCLUSION The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 are significantly increased in endometriosis patients,and are increasing with the development of disease,which are good indexes for detecting endometriosis.
