Application of Combined Manual Hole Digging Pile and Soil Nailing Wall Supporting in Whirling Pool Construction in Mudstone Region

Supporting technology combined manual hole digging pile with soil nailing wall was adopted in a whirling pool foundation excavation.The difficulties in construction were introduced.Supporting structure,drainage forms and construction process were also discussed in detail.Finally,the authors analyzed the deformation of structures nearby according to the monitoring data.Compared with the support structure of diaphragm wall and interior wall,this technology can accelerate construction process,reduce the cost and obtain good social and economic benefits.
