Abstract

The genetic diversity and genetic structure of six Ulmus pumila populations in Horqin Sand Land and Otingdag Sand Land were assessed by using RAPD markers.17 primers were chosen from 35 kinds of 10bp random primers, which could produce polymorphic, clear and stable bands. From 180 individuals of 6 populations,17 primers yielded 181 clearly identifiable bands, and among them 96 polymorphic bands were polymorphic. As analyzed by POPGENE1.32,the percentage of polymorphic loci(PPB) was 52.89%;Nei’s index and Shannon’s index of the gene diversity were 0.2611 and 0.3814 in special. The genetic differentiation was Gst =0.3768.The genetic variation among populations was37.68%,and within population was 62.32%.The genetic diversities in 6 populations were similar,Between two sandland genetic distance is not obvious.
