Disruptive Technology Innovation Challenging Traditional Innovation Management

Disruptive technology innovation is a new research field which is different from the traditional innovation,this paper summarized the differences between the disruptive innovation and the incremental innovation focusing on the destruction and risk, and figured out the challenge that the disruptive innovation exerts on the incremental innovation by analyzing the following five aspects--organizational structure, flow of innovation, source of innovation, management of knowledge and supportive role of policy. Finally, some discussions on the approaches for Chinese enterprises to foster disruptive technology were talked about.
