Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of treatment of hyperlipidemia with atorvastatin.Methods:50 patients with total cholesterol(TC)≥6.5 mmol/L or triglyceride(TG)≥1.7 mmol/L or high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) ≤1.30 mmol/L were selected.Atorvastatin 10mg were given, day 1.At 8 weeks, the four lipids、blood、liver and kidney function, alanine aminotransferase(ALT),creatine kinase(CK) were measured. Results:Before and after treatment significant changes in blood lipids.total effective rate of improving blood TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C was 96.0%,72.0%,70.0% respectively. No significant adverse drug reactions were found. Conclusion:The effect of atorvastatin be treated for hyperlipidemia is significant, less side effects,it's meaningful for preventing cardiovascular daisease.
