Abstract
Based on the surveys of floating population in the floating population residential communities in five cities and by using a descriptive analysis,this paper probes into the problems of administration and services in the floating population residential communities in the urban through the comparison of the floating population and the local urban people and finally some thoughts and suggestions on the public policy and service in such communities are put forward.
