Simply introduced the GPRS network technology and its functional characteristics;By analysis of comparing with traditional meter reading model,put forward remote electric meter reading system plan based on General Packet Radio Service(GPRS);And analyzed the performance of the remote automatic meter reading system based on GPRS technology and its advantages and disadvantages
