Study on the cracks in masonry structure and prevention measures

Abstract

Reasons caused the cracks in masonry structure are analyzed.According to the settlement cracks,temperature cracks and shrinkage cracks the mechanism caused those cracks are analyzed as well as factors influencing the cracks,at the same time corresponding prevention and treatment measures are proposed in order to resolve cracking problems of masonry structure to prolong the service life of buildings.
