Preliminary Report on the Study of Grassland Degradation of Maqu Country in Source Region of Yellow River

In this paper,the plant community structure in different degenerated grassland and the species di-versity characteristics were studied and analyzed based on the investigation data of plant community sample plots of alpine meadow ecosystem.The result indicated: Along with the degree of grassland degeneration aggravating,the plant community structure of grassland,the species composition and the degree of coverage has had tremendous changes,mainly presented as the rapid reduction of species number,reduction of vegetation coverage,high quality forage had decreased greatly and the species diversity is lower than the natural ecosystem obviously.
