Direction of the Development of Chinese Anthropology ——An Interview with an Anthropologist (No. 26)

Anthropology research in China should be approached to in diversified dimensions, covering both classical and modern topics. There being an intrinsic joint in between, classical and modern topics are in fact relativelyspoken. In discipline construction, the entire anthropplogy research should include four branches, namely archaeology, linguistics, physical anthropology, and cultural anthropology. The research of anthropology in China should be oriented towards an integration of these four.
