Abstract

Twelve pairs of ISSR primer combinations were used to determine the genetic diversity of Dimocarpus confinis in Guangxi.Materials included 67 D.confinis individual plants,10 longan varieties,12 litchi varieties and 10 wild litchi plants in Guangxi and all the materials obtained clear fingerprints.A total of 151 major ISSR bands were observed, and 127 bands(84.11%) were polymorphic. All of the cultivars could be distinguished with the markers used.Genetic similarities among all D.confinis ranged from 0.61 to 0.97,and it indicated that D.confinis germplasm in Guangxi had abundant genetic diversity. There were obvious differences among D.confinis, longan and litchi, genetic similarities among all 99 taxa ranged from 0.53 to 0.98,litchi formed a single cluster and D.confinis and longan formed another cluster at Dice coefficient 0.53.The results showed that D.confinis was closer to longan in genetic material.
