Abstract
With the meteorological data(average pressure, average temperature, average vapor pressure, altitude)of the past 30 years in 65 stations on the Inner Mongolia Region, the change of air density with altitude can be estimated with the exponential equation method to obtain the exponential relationship between the air density and altitude, and the estimation results are compared with the results obtained by the general theoretical formula in other related technical regulations. The study shows: 1) there are significant exponential relationships between the altitude and the air density;2) the exponential equation ρ=1.287 5λ-0.000 13xobtained by calculating of weather station records reflects the change of the air density with altitude in the Inner Mongolia more accurately.
