On the Application Prospect of Taking CSSCI Citation Analysis as the Evaluation Means of Humanities and Social Sciences

Abstract
It is of great significance to establish and improve the evaluation mechanism of humanities and social sciences for developing humanities and social sciences.CSSCI has admittedly a certain influence on China's social science circles.By analyzing the reasons of increasing influence of CSSCI and characteristics of CSSCI,this paper attempts to explore the application prospect of CSSCI as an evaluation tool of humanities and social sciences and holds that CSSCI citation analysis would be an important and feasible tool of academic evaluation of humanities and social sciences.Establishing and improving CSSCI is bound to become an important aspect of constructing China's evaluation system of humanities and social sciences.
