Study on Urogenital Mycoplasma Infection of 1377 Patients and Analysis of Their Antimicrobiotial Susceptibility Test

Objective To provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and therapy through investigate Urogenital Mycoplasma infection and drug sensitivity.Methods Mycoplasma were isolated from 1377 patients with genitourinary tract infection symptoms and signs,and their antibiotic susceptibility was tested with 8 different antibiotics.Results Among all the cases,569 patients were infected with Mycoplasma(41.32 %).The simple infection of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) was 362 cases(26.32 %) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) was 45 cases(3.27 %) respectively.The mixed infection of Uu/ Mh was 162 cases(11.73%).Uu was the major cause of Mycoplasma infection in genitourinary system.The result of drug sensitive test showed that drug sensitivity was in various extents.Doxycycline and Josamycin were more effective than other antimicrobial agents,while the susceptibilities of Ciprofloxacin,Sparfloxacin,Erythromycin,Roxithromycin were low.Conclusion It is important for us to choose antimicrobial agents according to the results of culture and antimicrobial susceptibility test for Mycoplasma infection of genitourinary tract.If antibiotic susceptibility testing can not be tested,Doxycycline and Josamycin may be locally selected as the first drugs to treat mycoplasma infection.
