Abstract

In the paper,GLEASON spiral bevel gear module which UG developed is applied, geometric parameter of the gears is input to establish and assemble the 3D model of the gears. Then the model is introduced into the ANSYS workbench to do the contact stress analysis of the spiral bevel gear.At last,it is obtained the distribution of contact stress, the maximum contact stress and the change rule of tooth contact stress in a meshing period.
