German Classical Philosophy has a widespread and profound influence upon contemporary western philosophy. As for the range of its influence, both the different systems included in German Classical Philosophy and different aspects of the different systems have either greatly or slightly influenced the different schools of our contemporary philosophy; as for the depth of the influence, we can say that German Classical Philosophy stimulated the essential problems discussed in contemporary western philosophy, and also provided a basic train of thought to solve the problems. As a tradition, German Classical Philosophy is lively. It becomes an organic component part of contemporary philosophy by stimulatint it. Therefore, it is necessary to pay full attention to the initial contacts between them when we emphasize that contemporary philosophy transcends modern philosophy in thinking mode.
