Abstract
The experimental population of Scipinia subula was studied under the average temperature of 30℃ to observe the survival and multiplication rate. The age specific and fecundity specific life tables were constructed. The following population parameters were obtained: survival rate(0.60),index of population trend(I=30.55),net reproductive rate(R0=30.0892),mean generation time(T=63.6 d),innate capacity of population increase(rm=0.0535),instantaneous rates of birth and death(b=0.2113;d=0.1578),finite rate of increase(λ=1.0550) and doubling time(DT=13.0).In the stable age composition,90.22% of the population was in the immature period and 9.78% in the adult period.
