Research on Firm Evolution and its Mechanism from Knowledge Perspective

Abstract

Based on the knowledge of the existence,character and heterogeneity of firm,a new definition of firm evolution is proposed.Core concepts of firm evolution theory are redefined with the essence and character analyzed.The firm evolution mechanism centering on organizational learning and knowledge innovation is discussed in detail.The role and character of each process in the firm evolution are analyzed.Finally,suggestions about how to accelerate the firm evolution are put forward with the consideration of actuality of Chinese firm.
