Abstract

The recent progresses of catalysts for diphenyl carbonate(DPC) synthesis by transesterification of phenol with dimethyl oxalate were reviewed,including the homogeneous catalyst and heterogeneous catalyst.The advantages and disadvantages of various synthetic methods were compared.Additionally,the future study direction in this field was also prospected.
