Analysis of related factors in the microsurgical treatment of pineal region tumors

Abstract

Objective To analysis the related factors in the microsurgical treatment of pineal region tumors.Methods The clinical data of 69 patients with pineal region tumors performed microsurgery were analyzed retrospectively.The tumors and the texture,blood supply,pathology in pineal region and the relationship with microsurgery were analyzed.Results The tumors were totally removed in 43 cases,subtotal in 19 and partial in 7.Conclusion The microsurgical difficulty and degree of resection are closely related to the size,texture,blood supply and pathology of pineal region tumors.
