Abstract
By taking 3-D parameter design of the straight-toothed spur gear as example,this paper discusses the method to develop the parameter part library bases on UG software,and introduces the development process based on UG/OPEN Grip.In the foundation of analyses to the design model of standard involutes-gear,we establish the 3-D parameter model of the straight-toothed spur gear,and realize it with an application program.This method simplifies the modeling process of the gear,and enhances the modeling efficiency.
