Three Gorges of Yangtze River are the famous realm of bridges. The bridges agglomerate lots of human knowledge, culture, wisdom and creativity and bears the weight of human struggle, resistance, hopes and dreams. The humanism connotation of the bridges in Three Gorges Region is very rich. This paper reveals the special connotation of bridges in Three Gorges region from six aspects such as folk-custom and religion, famous persons through the ages, science and technology, Macao's return and Yuao Bridge, immigration in Three Gorges region, administration corruption and Hongqiao in Qijiang County.
