Abstract

The well logging interpretation of low porosity and low permeability reservoirs has been a difficult problem in oilfield exploration. With various reaction of the sedimentary process, compression and denudation, the Qikeshu reservoirs show the features of low porosity and low permeability. The reservoir develops secondary porosity and the heterogeneous increases the complexity of reservoir evaluation. We analyze the core experiment, well logging and well texting report, confirm the characteristic of lithology and physical property,oil-bearing property and physical property.Based on the model of pore-throat,the relationship between pore structure parameters and electrical property is analyzed and a new model is presented to interpret the sandstone reservoir of low porosity and low permeability with well-developed secondary porosity.
