Abstract

Objective To explore the immune function of pulmonary tuberculosis patients complicated with severe pneumonia. Methods The study selected 56 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with severe pneumonia as the study group and 40 health adults as the control group. The levels of IL-8,IL-6 and TNF-α were detected. Results The percentage of CD3+,CD4+ and activity of NK cell were obviously lower in the study group than in the control group( P 0.01).But the percentage of CD+8 was significantly higher in the study group than in the control group( P 0.01).Furthermore,the levels of IL-8,IL-6 and TNF-α were higher in the study group than in the control group( P 0.01),and the levels of IL-8,IL-6 and TNF-α was lower in the survive group than in the death group( P 0.05).Conclusion The cellular immune function of pulmonary tuberculosis patients complicated with severe pneumonia is decreased, which may be one of the important reasons influencing the progression and prognosis of diseases.
