Abstract
Extrusion forming of an new aluminum alloy sealing was proposed, and factors effecting the quality of sealing after forming was analyzed.Finite element simulation of the extrusion forming of aluminum alloy sealing was carried out by DEFORM-2D software.Effective stress, effective strain and load-stroke behavior of sealing under different strokes of top die were observed, then the two periods of forming and the high-stress/strain area of sealing were obtained.Through changing the vertical position of the hole for sealing line, effective stress, effective strain and load-stroke behavior in extrusion forming were compared of three different sealing design so that evidence for design was provided.
