Abstract

Habermas advanced his theory of discourse ethics by applying the theory of communicative action to the fields of morality. In his theoretical system,Intersubjectivity theory is the cornerstone and the symptom existence.Considering his theory of discourse ethics, intersubjectivity theory reflects Habermas' strong appeal of the moral consensus. The moral consensus as it was called by Habermas can be analyzed from the following aspects: life-world-the real world for the theory of moral consensus to be practiced;rationality of communicative activities-the kernel of ethical consensus;discourse-the medium to realize ethical consensus;generalization and dialogue ethical principle-basic guarantee to realize ethical consensus.Habermas' theory of the moral consensus, which is very profound and distinguished, provides the mirror for us to strengthen the construction of the ethics.
