Abstract
Objectives To detect the expressions of p16 and Ki67 in tissues of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)and cervical cancer and to evaluate their clinical significance. Methods The expressions of p16 and Ki67 in tissues of 12 normal cervical epithlium,24 CINⅡ-Ⅲand 55 cervical cancer were detected with immunohistochemical(S-P)method.Results The positive expression rates of p16 and Ki67 in normal cervical epithlium,CINⅡ-Ⅲ and cervical cancer were 8.33%,70.83%,87.27% and 16.67%,87.5%,90.90%,respectively.The expressions of p16 and Ki67 in CINⅡ-Ⅲ and cervical cancer were significantly higher than normal cervical epithlium(P0.01).There was positive correlation between p16 and Ki67 in CINⅡ-Ⅲ and cervical cancer (P0.01).The expression of p16 was correlated with the clinical stages and pathological grades(P0.05).Conclusion The expressions of p16 and Ki67 are able to discover CIN and cervical carcinoma much more early..
