Abstract
Using RNA extracted from human umbilical vein endothelium cell as a template, the gene of VEGF receptor Flt-1 was amplified by RT-PCR. Recombinant plasmid pPIC9K-F was constructed and transformed into Pichia pastoris GS115. The supernant was assayed with SDS-PAGE and Western blot. A positive band near 74.2 ku was found. It showed sFlt-1 was expressed successfully in Pichia pastoris . The result of the binding assay of receptor-ligand for sFlt-1 showed sFlt-1 has the biological activity of binding with its li-gand VEGF.
