Abstract

Lyocellfiberism ade from a kind oflow costand high hemicellulose contentpulp. And the crys-tallinity, orientation, mechanical properties, fibrillation phenomenon and dyeing properties of high hemi- cellulose Lyocell fiber are investigated. The results show that Lyocell fiber from high hemicellulose pulp has better properties of resistance fibrillation and dyeing, and higher crystallinity, orientation and modulus than Lyocell fiber from high-alpha cellulose pulp.
