The paper analyses the focal points regarding theenvironment and tradein WTO and the pressure and opportunities faced by enterprises that participate in the international market competitions as well as the difficulties in controlling pollution.The author,standing from the point of sustainable development ,elaborates upon the significance of clean production and indicates that China's accession into WTO offers the enterprises the international economical environment and drive power for their environment management and pollution control.
