Abstract
In this article,a method to optimize not only the directivity but also the acoustic power of loudspeaker arrays is developed.In consideration of the directivity and acoustic power,the input voltage distribution of a loudspeaker array can be optimized and selected.Frequency-dependent signal processors are not needed with this method.The results of computer simulation and experiment both show that the method is feasible.
