Abstract

This paper analyzed the relationship between the birx of individual internode as well as average birx of the whole stem of sweet sorghum in Xinjiang. The results are summarized as follows:there is an apparent difference between the bires between of the individual internodes,the birx of each internodes from the bottom to the top is fluctuated as low-high-low;the values of birxes in the 9th,10th and 11th internodes counted from bottom of the stem are the highest and 2nd is the lowest,the mean birx of the whole stem is 15.1.
