Abstract

with a PEG spectrophotometric method, circulating immune complexes of crucian carp, grass carp , variegated carp, catfist, and Africa crucian carp were determined. It was found that there were significantly differences in levels between the two PEG rteatment of each of five freshwater fishes. There also existed differences in levels among five fresh freshwater water fishes but varigeated caup and catfish in both concentrations of PEG. These findings suggest that the amounts of circulating immune complexes of freshwater fishes are associated with their classificatory position and ability of disease-resistant . It is thonght, therefore, the ability of neutralizing antigens in freshwater fishes are affected not only by their classificatory position but also by their abiliby of disease-resistant.
