Theory and methodology of evaluating city tourism competitiveness——Liaoning Province case study

In this study we raise the hypothesis of city tourism competitiveness study and sum up the study development of tourism competitiveness.We mainly discuss the theories which can be used for decisions of city tourism competitiveness.Taking 14 cities of Liaoning province as a case study,we evaluated the city tourism competitiveness among different cities.The result is different from those former standpoints of ordinary study in this field.On the basis,we explain the cause of the discrepancy between the original estimates and our study conclusion on tourism competitiveness of these cities and present the way to promote city tourism competitiveness.
